Save the steam train!

New online petition created by the communities on Valea Hartibaciului for reintegration of the steam train.

The SAVE "MOCANITA (old, slow train) HARTIBACIULUI" Petition to Romanian authorities was initiated by The Association "Hartibaciu Valley" and the Regional Ecomuseum Association from Sibiu and written by Jochen Cotaru, Asociatia Valea Hartibaciului - The Association "Hartibaciu Valley".

This means of transport is an ecological and sustainable alternative to other, more polluting, resources. It would also contribute considerably to the development of the local tourism industry.

The Romanian authorities are expected to react following this appeal made by Romanian and International civil society members.
