Slow Food in Romania comprises six Convivia: Brasov, Bran-Moeciu, Bucharest, Brusturoasa-Palanca, Tarnava Mare and Turda.

There are also the Food Communities of Branza de Burduf Presidium; Brusturoasa Breeders and Cheese Producers; Bucovina Cabbage Growers and Processors; Organic Producers of Milk, Cheese and Bread; Saxon Village Preserves Presidium and Valcea Producers. The Romanian National Ark of Taste Commission was approved in 2008.

The project is financially supported by Norvegian Government through Norwegian Program for Development, Research and Education.
